Advocating for safer streets: Community Safety Crosswalk Initiative
In response to a tragic accident in our area, True Word of God Ministries leads a powerful Community Safety Crosswalk Initiative every year on the last Saturday of March, held on Monroe Road. This vital effort seeks to raise awareness and encourage city officials to consider the installation of a traffic signal to prevent future accidents and protect pedestrian lives. Join us for a community prayer gathering, a peaceful safety awareness walk, and engagement with media (WSOC 9 News invited) and city leadership, including an invitation extended to the Chief of Police. We believe serving God includes caring for the safety and well-being of our neighbors, promoting unity and civic responsibility.
Nurturing our youth: Back-to-School Safety Event
Each August, True Word of God Ministries hosts our uplifting Back-to-School Safety Event, a day designed to support children and families as they prepare for the academic year. This annual gathering features games, music, delicious food, and joyful community fellowship. We aim to encourage students and families, promoting safety and unity within our community, and demonstrating the love of Christ through practical support and compassionate action. We hope that those who attend our events experience unity, awareness, and a renewed sense of responsibility for one another.
Weekly gatherings & spiritual foundations
Our ministry is built upon a foundation of consistent worship and biblical teaching. Join us for our weekly gatherings: Sunday School at 10:00 AM, followed by our Morning Worship Service at 11:00 AM every Sunday. We are also preparing to launch a Midweek Bible Study Chat Line at 8:00 PM (Coming Soon), offering an additional opportunity for teaching, prayer, and spiritual growth. True Word of God Ministries continues to prayerfully plan additional events and programs for both children and adults, expanding opportunities for fellowship, outreach, and community engagement throughout the year. We seek to reflect compassion, integrity, and hope at every event.
